As well as reflecting the tone and style of your wedding day, your invitations need to give your guests all the basic essential information. |

Invitation text can be in the form of an additional paper insert or, on a postcard style invitaion, the invitation text can be part of the design. It really depends on your chosen wedding invitation style. |

When thinking about your invitation wording, the main things to consider are:
• Do you want the wording to have a formal or informal tone?
• Who is hosting? (traditionally the bride’s parents, but often the couple choose to be hosts). If you would like any addition advice on variations of text depending on the hosts, please feel free to contact me
• All the essential information will need to be included (date, time, location etc), but you may wish to include additional information (eg. Details of any dress code etc)
Your invitation wording can be printed in any colour or in a number of different fonts. Wording can also be done in any language.
Suggestions are given below as a guide. Simply let me know which wording style you would like or you can send me a copy of your own original wording to be used.
If you would like a more traditional style where a dotted line is included for you to write your guests’ names, just let me know.

Order of Service
The order of service usually comes in the form of a booklet with paper pages inside displaying the details of your ceremony (eg. entrance music, hymns, readings, the marriage, signing of the register, recessional music etc). This can be as simple or as extensive as you like and the inserts can be varied to accommodate this.
Text for this is usually confirmed at a later stage once everything is confirmed. Simply email the text over and a final sample will be sent to you for approval. |
Menus
This will simply contain details of the menu. Again, details can be sent once everything is confirmed.

Thank You Cards
The inside of your thank you cards can be either of the following:
• blank for you to write your message
• blank for you to write your message, but with your names/address at the bottom
• alternatively, you can send me a thank you message which can be printed inside |
